Where is my saved farm map?
Open Farm Map → Original farm map, then check Original layout and the named tabs. Choose Satellite map → Fit locations for GPS geometry. If the layout fails to load, retry before recreating assets.
Read the step-by-step guide →Can I have more than one farm map?
Yes. Use New map in the horizontal toolbar. Each named tab shows its assigned assets, and Move an existing asset transfers an asset to the selected tab.
Read the step-by-step guide →Why is an asset visible in the layout but not on the satellite image?
A saved drawing position is not necessarily a GPS coordinate. Assets need valid saved GPS geometry to appear on imagery. Review known coordinates or boundary corners, then save them; do not guess from the drawing.
Read the step-by-step guide →Why is satellite imagery blank or out of date?
Imagery requires a connection and the tile provider may be unavailable. Try Street to separate an imagery problem from a connection problem. Satellite photographs can also be older than current farm conditions.
Read the step-by-step guide →Does Tractor GPS provide inch-level accuracy or autosteer?
No accuracy level is guaranteed. FieldForge shows the device’s reported uncertainty and provides visual guidance. It does not steer or detect obstacles. The demo’s route and metrics are simulated.
Read the step-by-step guide →How is covered acreage calculated?
It is an estimate from traveled distance multiplied by implement width. Turns, gaps, repeat passes, and GPS error can affect it. Overlap is not subtracted, so it is not a surveyed measurement of unique covered ground.
Read the step-by-step guide →Does the demo use my farm or request my location?
No. The public Tractor GPS demo runs with a synthetic route in memory. It requires no account or GPS permission and does not save a session to your farm.
Read the step-by-step guide →Can I open another saved track while recording?
Finish & Save the current session first. Saved-track review stays separate from active recording so the route and controls cannot switch to a different session mid-track.
Read the step-by-step guide →Where are Day, Night, and Auto modes?
Open Settings → Appearance. Auto follows the device’s color preference. The selection is saved separately on each device.
Read the step-by-step guide →Where is the AI document upload tool?
Open AI assistant and look for Scan / upload document. Choose Upload document or Take photo, review the attachment, and select Scan document.
Read the step-by-step guide →Which documents can I scan?
Attach one PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, DOCX, TXT, or CSV file up to 3 MB. Scanning needs an internet connection and available AI access. The attachment remains available to retry after an error.
Read the step-by-step guide →Does scanning an invoice automatically create records?
No. A scan extracts and explains the document. Review the information and save or update the appropriate farm record separately.
Read the step-by-step guide →Does everything work offline?
No. Supported records and GPS points can be buffered, but sign-in, satellite imagery, AI scans, map-coordinate saves, and session start/finish need a connection. Confirm pending work has synced before clearing local data.
Read the step-by-step guide →How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?
Use Support, choose the request type, and describe the steps or intended job. Include the page, device/browser, expected result, actual result, and exact error when relevant.
