Terms of Service

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and the owner and operator of FieldForge. “FieldForge” means the FieldForge websites, applications, software, content, support channels, and related services. “FieldForge Parties” means FieldForge and its owner, operator, affiliates, licensors, service providers, contractors, officers, employees, and agents.

By checking the acceptance box, creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using FieldForge after these Terms are presented, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Your electronic acceptance has the same intended effect as a handwritten signature. If you use FieldForge for a farm, ranch, homestead, stable, employer, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for account credentials, authorized users, role assignments, the accuracy and legality of records, appropriate independent backups, and all activity under your account. Notify FieldForge promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

FieldForge is an operational aid, not a substitute for your judgment, observation, training, inspections, insurance, regulatory obligations, or professional services. You remain solely responsible for decisions, actions, omissions, employees, contractors, animals, crops, equipment, products, customers, and property under your control.

Subject to these Terms and your membership, FieldForge grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for lawful farm, ranch, homestead, stable, or related business operations. FieldForge and its licensors retain all rights in the software, designs, brands, documentation, and service content. Feedback may be used to improve FieldForge without compensation or confidentiality obligations.

Each eligible new account may start one fourteen-day Pro trial through the website without a payment method. That no-card trial ends automatically unless you add payment and affirmatively start a paid subscription. Starter and Business memberships begin when paid. Paid web subscriptions renew at the monthly or annual cadence and price displayed before checkout until canceled. Taxes may apply.

Website purchases are processed by Stripe and may be managed or canceled through the FieldForge billing portal. Apple purchases are managed through your Apple account and Google Play purchases through your Google account. Store pricing and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Deleting a FieldForge account does not itself cancel a subscription. Except where law requires otherwise, fees already charged are nonrefundable and access continues through the paid period.

You retain ownership of your records and grant the FieldForge Parties a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, display, and back up that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you submit, including employee, customer, animal, financial, location, photo, document, storefront, and stable-profile information.

You control whether supported stable profiles and storefront content are made public. You are responsible for reviewing public content before enabling it and for removing confidential, regulated, misleading, infringing, or unsafe information.

FieldForge is not a veterinarian, physician, mechanic, engineer, agronomist, attorney, accountant, tax adviser, insurance adviser, emergency service, or regulatory authority. AI, reminders, calculations, scanners, reports, templates, alerts, and educational content may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. They do not establish a professional-client relationship, diagnosis, prescription, inspection, certification, warranty, or guarantee of compliance.

Confirm material decisions with qualified professionals, current laws, labels, safety data, manufacturer manuals, physical inspections, diagnostic testing, and your own records. Never delay emergency care or disregard professional advice because of FieldForge. Contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional for urgent risks involving people, animals, poison, fire, equipment, food, or property.

Tractor GPS, satellite imagery, farm maps, coordinates, boundaries, routes, coverage, measurements, and headings are approximate visual aids. FieldForge does not steer equipment, locate utilities, establish legal boundaries, detect terrain, animals, people, vehicles, obstacles, hazards, or no-go zones, or replace an approved navigation or machine-control system. Secure devices before movement, keep full control, and stop machinery before interacting with FieldForge.

Barcode, QR, tag, photo, and document scans must be reviewed before use. Offline changes may conflict, duplicate, fail, or be overwritten when devices reconnect. AI-assisted actions and imports must be reviewed before confirmation. You are responsible for verifying every record, instruction, dosage, withdrawal period, identifier, transaction, and safety-critical result.

The telephone assistant is automated, has no authenticated access to your account or farm records, and may misunderstand speech or provide incorrect answers. Do not provide passwords, verification codes, complete card details, API keys, or emergency information. Transfer to a live person is not guaranteed.

FieldForge depends on services such as Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, Twilio, Vercel, map and weather providers, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, accounting platforms, payroll and workforce providers, internet carriers, and device operating systems. Their availability, accuracy, policies, fees, approvals, and acts are outside FieldForge’s control. Your use of a third-party service is also governed by that provider’s terms.

Do not use FieldForge unlawfully; harm or endanger people, animals, property, or systems; upload malware or infringing content; invade privacy; misrepresent records or products; bypass plan limits; reverse engineer or resell the service; probe security; automate excessive requests; or use output as the sole basis for a safety-critical, medical, veterinary, legal, financial, employment, food-safety, or regulatory decision.

FieldForge may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, address fraud or unlawful use, enforce these Terms, respond to providers or authorities, or manage nonpayment. You may stop using FieldForge at any time and may request account deletion, subject to separate subscription cancellation and lawful retention. Features, integrations, limits, and providers may change or be discontinued. When reasonably practical, material changes will be communicated through the service.

You are responsible for maintaining licenses, permits, inspections, training, and insurance appropriate to your operation, which may include property, vehicle, equipment, general liability, product liability, cyber, workers’ compensation, crop, and livestock coverage.

Nothing in these Terms waives or limits rights or remedies that applicable consumer-protection, privacy, data-breach, product-liability, or other law prohibits from being waived or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular warranty exclusions, releases, indemnities, or damage limitations, so those provisions apply only to the maximum extent allowed there.

Before filing a non-urgent dispute, please send a written description and requested resolution to hello@fieldforge.farm and allow thirty days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief, filing in small-claims court where eligible, contacting a regulator, or exercising a right that cannot be restricted.

If any provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. FieldForge’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without written consent; FieldForge may assign them with the service or its business. These Terms and any additional terms expressly incorporated into them are the entire agreement concerning the service and supersede prior statements on that subject.
